Apartment fire in HCMC

On the evening of September 20, Ho Chi Minh City Police coordinated with Duc Nhuan Ward Police and related units to investigate the cause of the fire in an apartment on the 11th floor of the Golden Maison apartment building (Duc Nhuan Ward, Ho Chi Minh City).

Initial information, at about 6:45 p.m. the same day, smoke and fire broke out in an apartment on the 11th floor, block GM2 of this apartment building, black smoke spread along the hallway and outside the 22-story building. Many families living in the building gathered their belongings, carried their children and ran down the fire escape.

Hearing the fire report, people quickly ran down to the apartment building.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police, Ho Chi Minh City Police mobilized many fire trucks and dozens of firefighters to the scene. The soldiers quickly extinguished the fire after only about 10 minutes, and at the same time carefully checked to ensure that no one was trapped.

The cause and damage of the fire are being investigated.
