A massive fire broke out at a pet care shop in Ho Chi Minh City.

On January 5th, the Binh Thanh District Police (Ho Chi Minh City) are investigating the cause of a fire at a pet care shop.

At 10:40 PM on January 4th, fire and smoke erupted from the ground floor of the Sam Sam pet care shop on No Trang Long Street, Ward 14. This establishment served as both a residence and a business premises.

Because the store contained many flammable materials, the fire quickly engulfed the ground floor. Seeing the fire, some residents ran to try to put it out, but their efforts were ineffective.

The Bình Thạnh District Police Fire Department dispatched numerous fire trucks and officers to the scene. The fire was subsequently brought under control.

Eyewitnesses said police rescued several people who were trapped, bringing them to safety. "A wounded cat was also carried out," one resident recounted.
