According to initial information, a fire broke out on the evening of February 13th at a car garage located in alley 543, Giai Phong Street (Hoang Mai District, Hanoi).

Eyewitnesses said that at around 7 PM, they saw smoke and flames coming from the auto repair shop.

Residents quickly shouted for help and tried to put out the fire, but because the building contained many flammable materials, the flames raged fiercely, accompanied by thick columns of black smoke rising high into the air.

Upon receiving the report, the Fire and Rescue Force dispatched two fire trucks along with officers and soldiers to the scene to extinguish the fire. Approximately 30 minutes later, the fire was brought under control.

According to some witnesses, the garage employees had already closed and gone home when the incident occurred, so there were no casualties.

This garage, approximately 30-40 square meters in size, was partially constructed with brick walls and a corrugated iron roof. The fire caused a portion of the roof to deform and collapse.

The cause of the fire is currently being investigated.
