Coffee shop fire, dozens of people flee

A coffee shop in Binh Tan Ward (HCMC) caught fire, forcing dozens of customers and employees to flee. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

At about 8:45 a.m. on December 2, a fire broke out at a coffee shop on Street 3, Vinh Loc Residential Area, Binh Tan Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.

According to initial information from witnesses at the scene, the fire suddenly broke out from the bar area. Because there were many flammable materials inside, the fire quickly spread and flared up fiercely. At the time of the fire, the restaurant was quite crowded.

Firefighters and rescue workers urgently put out the fire.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Police and Rescue Team of Region 9 promptly dispatched many fire trucks and officers and soldiers to the scene.

Firefighting forces quickly deployed teams, extinguished the fire from many directions, preventing the risk of fire spreading to neighboring houses.

After about 20 minutes of effort, the fire was basically under control. However, the fire was still smoldering, so the fire brigade continued to spray water to cool and completely extinguish the embers.

The fire burned down many properties inside the restaurant, damaging the ceiling and wall structure.

Currently, the police are blocking off the scene and investigating the cause of the incident.
