After three nights of performances, the 2024 "Beautiful Sister Riding the Wind" show has almost no hit songs that have caused a sensation.

There were no "viral" performances.

Beautiful woman riding the wind Season 1 of "Creating Waves" created a sensation from the moment it aired through each performance round. Right from the first performance, Trang Phap's team stirred up social media and music platforms with their performance of "Đi đu đưa đi" (Let's Go Swinging). The performance was praised for its stage presence, choreography, and staging, likened to a professional girl group.

With performances by Trang Phap, Huyen Baby, Quynh Nga, and Giang Hong Ngoc, the sizzling "Di Dua Dua Di" (Going on a Race) performance went viral, helping the song regain popularity and become a hit again.

On the second night of the show, Trang Phap, along with her team of stunning beauties such as Lan Ngoc and Diep Lam Anh, once again rocked the stage with their hit song "Chi Nga Em Nang" (Sister Falls, I Lift Her Up). The song, originally composed by Tien Cookie, was given a fresh twist, choreographed with hot dance moves, and combined with the dazzling stage presence of the "beautiful ladies," made "Chi Nga Em Nang" a sensation on social media.

The second season of "Beautiful Sisters Riding the Monsoon" has yet to produce a single performance that has achieved the same impact as "Đi đu đưa đi" or "Chị ngả em nâng". Despite significant investment and effort, the performances have garnered modest viewership. For example, Tóc Tiên's team's performance of "Chân ái," while praised for its staging, failed to reach 1 million views on YouTube two weeks after its release.

One of the rare performances to reach the top trending list and surpass a million views was "Chưa quên người yêu cũ" (Not Forgetting My Ex-Lover) by Thiều Bảo Trâm and Dương Hoàng Yến. However, to be fair, the biggest draw that helped this performance reach a million views was the behind-the-scenes stories. For many years, Thiều Bảo Trâm has been rumored to be Sơn Tùng M-TP's ex-girlfriend.

In other words, Son Tung M-TP was the indirect factor that helped Thieu Bao Tram's song "Chua Quen Nguoi Yeu Cu" (Haven't Forgotten My Ex-Lover Yet) gain popularity on "Chi Dep Dap Gio" (Beautiful Woman Riding the Wind).

Most of the performances in "Beautiful Sister Riding the Wind" lacked originality in staging and were even criticized for being bland in terms of ideas.

The second season of "Beautiful Sister Riding the Monsoon" lacks versatile "characters" like Trang Phap, those with a large fan base like Ninh Duong Lan Ngoc, those who can surprise like Huyen Baby, or those who can create a strong stage presence like Diep Lam Anh...

Not to mention, many "beautiful women" are criticized for lacking musical personality, making it difficult for them to break through, such as Mie, MisThy, Hau Hoang... Many professional singers like Duong Hoang Yen, Hoang Yen Chibi, Thieu Bao Tram, Kieu Anh... lack distinctive personal characteristics to create appeal for a reality TV show.

Criticized for many reasons

The beautiful actress who rode the wind rose to prominence after two hugely successful reality shows, "Brother Says Hi" and "Brother Overcomes a Thousand Thorns," so comparisons in terms of stage design, music, and production were inevitable.

Compared to the two shows by Anh Trai, the stage for Chi Dep Dap Gio was smaller in scale and simpler in design, failing to create the grand, visually stunning effect it needed.

The music in "Beautiful Sister Riding the Wind 2" lacks innovation. The staging doesn't show much creativity, especially after audiences have already been "amazed" by the grand and spectacular performances in "Brother Says Hi" or "Brother Overcomes a Thousand Thorns".

Compared to the original Beautiful woman riding the wind Compared to season 1, the music, staging, and stage performances in season 2 are not as good.

While audiences are looking for something new and exciting in an entertainment show, "Beautiful Sister Riding the Wind 2024" has fallen into the trap of relying on tears and exploiting tragic elements to boost ratings.

From performance 1 to performance 3, there were tearful acts, with the "beautiful ladies" taking turns crying on stage. The overuse of tears is considered an outdated tactic.
