Sympathizing with Mrs. Bich's difficult situation, without anyone reminding them, each person, depending on their ability and health, started to do the work such as: moving furniture, removing tiles, carrying bricks... Although it was a bit hard, everyone was happy for Mrs. Bich who was about to have a new, more spacious house.
Mrs. Dao Thi Hanh confided: For a long time, the village saw him living in a dilapidated house and felt sorry for him but did not know how to help. Now the government has a program to support the removal of temporary and dilapidated houses, we have contributed a little bit of money and labor so that he can live in a sturdy house before the rainy season.

To mobilize the combined strength of the entire political system and the people, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district launched the program "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the district by 2025" and received over 2.5 billion VND in support from organizations, businesses, and people. Of which, Phuc Loc Thinh Trading Company Limited donated 680 million VND; Hung Yen Investment and Development Group Joint Stock Company donated 200 million VND. Promoting the spirit of mutual love of the nation, in recent times, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the province has actively promoted and mobilized organizations and individuals to support the "For the Poor" Fund through the launching ceremony to support the "For the Poor" Fund during the peak month for the poor every year. Along with organizing the launching ceremony and sending appeal letters to agencies, organizations and enterprises, the mobilization to build the fund has also been creatively applied by members of the Front to suit each different target group... Thanks to that, the annual revenue of the "For the Poor" Fund has exceeded the target. In 2024, agencies, enterprises and people supported the "For the Poor" Fund with more than 44.7 billion VND.
From the mobilized fund, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at all levels has consulted with the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Mobilization Committee of the "For the Poor" Fund at all levels to allocate from this fund together with the provincial and local budgets to give gifts to 100% of poor households in the province; support the construction and repair of houses, support medical examination and treatment, unexpected risks, support poor households to develop production...
Typically, in response to the damage caused by storm No. 3 and its circulation, in response to the call of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, agencies, businesses, and people have donated over 54 billion VND and many necessities to help localities promptly support and encourage people affected by the storm to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives. In 2024, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee also proposed that the Provincial "Rescue" Fund Mobilization Committee allocate 60 million VND to support 3 families whose relatives died in the fire at Trung Kinh apartment building (Hanoi city). On the occasion of the recent Lunar New Year, over 33,100 gifts, with a total value of over 18 billion VND, were presented to poor households, near-poor households, and households in difficult circumstances.
Not only doing well the social security work in the province, every year the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee also actively supports the social security work in other provinces, especially those where many Hung Yen people live. In 2024, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee advised the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to allocate 10 billion VND from the provincial budget to support 5 provinces: Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Tuyen Quang, Yen Bai and Lao Cai (2 billion VND each province), in order to work with the Central Government and the provinces to soon overcome the difficulties caused by storm No. 3.
From small gifts to larger supports such as: Support for building Great Unity houses, sanitation works, support for trees, seeds, or gift packages to help poor households have a warm Tet... are all noble gestures, full of humanity, in which the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels are meaningful social security bridges, helping poor households, near-poor households, and people in difficult circumstances to gradually overcome difficulties, rise up, and contribute to the locality to complete the criteria of advanced new rural areas and model new rural areas.
