At the Career Counseling and Job Fair in Chiềng Hoa commune, more than 200 workers, youth union members, and students in the area received advice and information from 9 units, businesses, and colleges regarding job opportunities, employment positions, and policies for workers; they were also guided on how to prepare applications and procedures for overseas employment, matching their abilities. Mr. Lầu A Chểnh from Lọng Bó village said: "Participating in the Job Counseling Fair, I was able to meet reputable recruiting units directly, receive advice, and have my questions answered to choose a profession that suits my abilities, strengths, and aspirations. I am currently considering one of the two units with good benefits to sign a contract for in the near future."

An Phat Green Plastic Joint Stock Company, part of An Phat Holdings Group, located in Hai Phong city, employs 120 workers from Son La province. Mr. Dang Thanh Phong, Deputy Head of the Training and Human Resource Development Department, stated: "At this job fair, we aim to recruit workers from Chieng Hoa commune, aged 18 to 50, who meet some basic educational requirements. The group has 15 member companies, offering various job positions for workers to choose from, such as machine operation, packaging production, furniture plastics, and electronic plastic components. Average income ranges from 11 to 15 million VND per month, with two free meals per workday and fully equipped dormitories for workers from distant areas."

After several years working as a laborer in Bac Ninh , the life of Mr. Tong Van Hoang's family in Nong Xua village has improved thanks to a stable income. Mr. Hoang shared: "I am working as a laborer with an income of 10 to 15 million VND per month, which helps my family improve our lives, allows us to repair our house and buy modern appliances and equipment."

Immediately after implementing the two-tiered local government model, the People's Committee of Chieng Hoa commune directed the Department of Culture and Social Affairs to coordinate with the villages to review the number of unemployed working-age laborers, their vocational training needs, and their aspirations, paying particular attention to ethnic minority laborers, poor and near-poor households, in order to develop solutions for local employment. Mr. Hoang Van Thai, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of the commune, said: With the motto "Together we walk - together we develop," the commune aims to strengthen the connection between people and businesses, helping people find job opportunities and have stable incomes. At the same time, it aims to gradually form the habit of working under contracts, complying with labor laws, and improving discipline and industrial work ethics among the local workforce. Through this, it will improve the quality of the commune's labor force, promote socio-economic development, and alleviate poverty in the area.

In addition, the commune focuses on labor export, connecting with qualified and legally compliant businesses and employers, disseminating information on government incentives, and the rights and obligations of workers before they go to work abroad. It also coordinates the organization of conferences to provide advice, introduce, and recruit students for overseas training programs. From July 2025 to the present, the commune has coordinated the organization of conferences to promote and introduce jobs to over 500 workers. To date, 32.42% of the commune's workforce has received training; 19.4% of the workforce has gone to work in industrial zones outside the province such as Hanoi, Hai Phong, Bac Ninh, etc.; and 6 workers have gone to work in Japan.

Furthermore, Chiềng Hoa commune, in coordination with the Mường La branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, has assisted people in accessing preferential loan capital to create jobs and develop the economy through entrusted socio-political organizations. Nearly 130 households have borrowed under the job creation program, with a total outstanding loan balance of nearly 6 billion VND. Thanks to these preferential loans, people have invested in economic development and production, and in the past year, 23 households have escaped poverty, and 95 people have found stable employment.

Continuing to focus on providing employment for local workers, Chiềng Hoa commune actively cooperates with the Provincial Employment Service Center, connecting units and businesses inside and outside the province to link vocational training programs with recruitment and job placement for workers. They coordinate the organization of regular vocational training classes for workers; provide training and transfer of advanced agricultural and industrial production techniques to the people… helping workers find stable jobs and income, contributing to poverty reduction in the locality.
