To meet the shopping and spring festival needs of the people, Cam Duong ward is organizing the Cam Duong Spring Flower Market 2026 with 3 concentrated flower market locations on the following streets: Hoang Quoc Viet, Hoang Sao, and Ngo Minh Loan.
Along the Hoàng Quốc Việt and Hoàng Sào Sào streets (the area surrounding the Vietnam Apatite Stadium), from early morning, vendors were busy setting up their stalls. Potted peach blossoms, kumquat trees laden with fruit, roses, and chrysanthemums were neatly arranged, attracting the attention of passersby.
Not only were the sellers excited, but the buyers were also in a cheerful mood as they strolled around the flower market. Mr. Hoang Duy Phong, from Cam Duong ward, Lao Cai province, said: "My family usually buys peach blossoms and kumquats for Tet. This year, the flowers and ornamental plants are very abundant and beautiful, and the prices are also stable compared to previous years."
For many families, visiting the flower market has become an indispensable cultural activity every Tet holiday. Mr. Trinh Minh from Cam Duong ward said: "Every year, my whole family visits the flower market. This year we've already bought a lot of flowers, and now I'm strolling around the market to find a really big, beautiful peach blossom tree to decorate for Tet."
According to the plan, the Cam Duong Flower Market will take place from February 6th to 10:00 AM on February 16th (i.e., from the 19th day of the 12th lunar month to 10:00 AM on the 29th day of the 12th lunar month of the Year of the Snake). This period is considered peak season, when the demand for flowers, ornamental plants, and other products for Tet (Lunar New Year) increases sharply.
It is known that the fair venues are arranged logically, making it convenient for people to travel and visit. Each location at the Cam Duong Spring Flower Market in 2026 has its own unique character, but they all share the same lively atmosphere, filled with laughter, conversation, and familiar bargaining sounds of the year-end days.
