(NLĐO) - Mr. Kou Kok Yiow has been with the group since its inception and has held positions as an advisor and member of the Supervisory Board.

According to an announcement on March 17th on the official Facebook page of Bamboo Capital Group (stock code: BCG), Mr. Kou Kok Yiow - Chairman of the Board of Directors of the group - passed away on March 8th, 2025 due to a heart attack, at the age of 63.

Mr. Kou Kok Yiow, born in 1962, has many years of experience in auditing and managing companies in the finance and accounting sector.

Bamboo Capital stated that Mr. Kou Kok Yiow has been with the group since its inception and has held positions as an advisor and member of the Supervisory Board. On April 27, 2024, he was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of the group.

In 2024, Bamboo Capital recorded net revenue of VND 1,133 billion, a slight decrease of 3.8% compared to the previous year. However, after-tax profit in the fourth quarter recovered strongly compared to the same period, reaching VND 96.5 billion.

For the full year 2024, Bamboo Capital Group recorded consolidated net revenue of VND 4,371 billion, an increase of 9% compared to 2023. After deducting expenses, the group's after-tax profit for the year reached VND 844.8 billion, an increase of 393.8% compared to 2023.
