NDO - On May 12th, in Ha Long City, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in coordination with the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee and the EU Delegation in Hanoi, organized the Vietnam-EU Day event with the theme: "Vietnam-EU: Working Together for a Clean Environment". The event was an initiative launched by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to contribute to raising awareness among the business community and the public about responsible behavior towards the environment.

Attending the event were Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Thi Thu Hang, Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee Cao Tuong Huy, EU Ambassador to Vietnam Julien Guerrier, and representatives from the embassies of EU member states in Vietnam.

The Vietnam-EU Day event, themed "Vietnam-EU: Working Together for a Clean Environment," held in Ha Long, is an initiative launched by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to raise awareness among the business community and the public about responsible behavior towards the environment and natural ecosystems in general, as well as the marine environment in particular, contributing to preventing pollution and degradation of the marine environment.

Following the opening ceremony, nearly 200 delegates participated in activities such as picking up and collecting waste along the Bai Chay beach and clearing trash from Ha Long Bay.

Following the success of the Vietnam-EU Day event, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs plans to continue coordinating with the EU Delegation in Vietnam to organize environmental events in other localities across the country in the near future.
