Photographers have the freedom to be creative, capturing memorable moments according to the client's wishes through each photograph and video. Therefore, studios are equipped with modern equipment, spaces, and photography accessories, reflecting youthful and fresh trends.

Nguyen Minh Hai, a photographer in Cam Duong ward, regularly posts beautiful photo sets and short films of portraits and landscapes of his hometown , Lao Cai, which he personally took, on social media platforms like Facebook and TikTok to advertise and find customers.

Hai shared: "I feel happy and even more passionate about photography when I can capture beautiful, natural moments with creative and unique ideas, and gain recognition from many clients. With client support and an increasing number of bookings, I decided to open a small studio at my home and pursue a career in service photography."

Photography is a profession that demands passion, creativity, and a wealth of ideas. Ms. Vu Ngoc Anh from Au Lau ward shared: "I enjoy taking commemorative photos on birthdays, during the lotus flower season, the crape myrtle flower season... to record each milestone, each beautiful and happy moment in my life. Every time I look at the photos, I feel like I'm reliving that beautiful time once again. Life is constantly changing and moving, but the most wonderful thing about a photograph is that the moment lasts forever."

Hoang Anh Tuan, a student in class 12D3 at Nguyen Hue High School in Yen Bai ward, shared: "Our whole class wanted to preserve our high school memories together, so we chose to take our graduation photos at school. In addition, our class also went camping and took photos around the campfire. We were very excited about taking photos because those pictures preserve our youth, beautiful memories of our school, teachers, and friends, and will always be a part of our memories in the future."

The photography and videography profession requires a significant investment, as the initial cost of purchasing cameras, lenses, flashes, tripods, batteries, etc., can amount to tens of millions of Vietnamese dong. For those who enter the profession and pursue it professionally, the most challenging question is how long it will take to recoup their investment and generate profit.

Le Tran Duc, a photographer from Tran Yen commune, shared: "Initially, pursuing a career in service photography requires a significant investment in equipment and lenses. However, through experience and skill gained from shooting events, I've been able to capture many beautiful photos that meet customer demands. If you're diligent, willing to learn, and build a reputation and relationships, you can quickly recoup your investment and gain many loyal clients. Of course, it largely depends on your skill level; if you take beautiful, professional, and high-quality photos, clients will naturally seek you out."

Photography has opened up new avenues for young people who love art, are passionate about creativity, and are dedicated and determined to pursue the profession. Each photograph and film capturing everyday moments or significant milestones and events in a person's life, in addition to its aesthetic and artistic value, also represents meaningful memories and stories preserved over time.
