Today, March 5th, the Provincial People's Committee issued a plan for restructuring crop patterns on rice land in the province in 2024. Accordingly, the total area for converting rice land to other crops in the province is 237.09 hectares. Of this, 207.09 hectares will be converted to annual crops, and 30 hectares will be converted to rice cultivation combined with aquaculture.
The purpose of this transformation is to improve land use efficiency and increase income for farming households. Simultaneously, it aims to reorganize agricultural production in certain regions and areas to exploit the advantages of land and natural conditions in each locality, creating favorable conditions for sustainable agricultural development.

Establishing specialized production zones with high output, creating highly efficient commodity production areas to serve the restructuring of the agricultural sector. Promoting production development and maximizing the potential of available land to ensure agricultural growth in 2024.
To implement the plan, the province will deploy solutions such as strengthening information and communication work; and applying scientific and technological advancements in a coordinated manner.
In terms of management and production organization, we will encourage and promote land consolidation and accumulation, forming large-scale concentrated production areas... Regarding resources, we will effectively implement the policies and guidelines of the central government, local budgets, and other legitimate sources.
