The smart pig farming model not only helps improve efficiency but also plays an important role in the process of digital transformation of agriculture.

According to Mr. Le Quoc Thanh, Director of the National Agricultural Extension Center, the National Agricultural Extension Center has started to build a digital transformation strategy throughout the system. The digital transformation strategy for agricultural extension will follow three pillars: digital communication; digital training and coaching; digital administration and services. To develop digital transformation in agricultural extension, agricultural extension officers need to identify their current position, fully understand the changes, and form new approaches suitable to the trend. The National Agricultural Extension Center will develop common standards for localities to implement synchronously and will submit to the Ministry for approval to develop a digital agricultural extension project.
