Coach Nguyen Cong Manh and Ha Tinh FC parted ways just before the end of the season. This news came as a surprise, as the team was close to successfully avoiding relegation this season.
If we're optimistic, Ha Tinh has a great chance of avoiding relegation. Ha Tinh FC is currently in 9th place with 24 points after 21 rounds. They are 10 points ahead of the second-to-last team with 5 rounds remaining.
Ha Tinh will introduce coach Nguyen Cong Manh in July 2025. He will replace his predecessor Nguyen Thanh Cong. Previously, the coach, born in 1982, led Becamex Ho Chi Minh City FC.
At that time, Coach Cong Manh was acting as interim coach at Binh Duong Stadium. Therefore, later on, Ha Tinh Club can be considered the first official team in the coaching career of the Pro-level coach.
After 21 rounds, coach Cong Manh has brought in 6 wins, 6 draws, and 9 losses.
Compared to the 2024-2025 season under coach Nguyen Thanh Cong, Ha Tinh is ranked 5th. In previous seasons, Ha Tinh struggled in the relegation battle, and in some years had to play in the play-off against PVF-CAND.
According to coach Nguyen Cong Manh, the reason for the early parting of ways may be due to changes in the team's leadership's direction for the upcoming season, leading to a decision not to continue working together.
The former assistant coach of the Vietnam U23 team under coach Hoang Anh Tuan has returned to his family and is seeking new opportunities and challenges in his professional field in the future.
Coach Cong Manh previously played for Song Lam Nghe An , Hoa Phat Hanoi, and Binh Dinh. Born in 1982, he attended the Pro Coaching course organized by the Asian Football Confederation.
According to his resume, Coach Cong Manh previously served as an assistant to Coach Hoang Anh Tuan in the Vietnam U23 team in 2024. Prior to that, he worked as an assistant to Coach Pham Minh Duc.
