Speaking to Thanh Nien newspaper on December 10th, Vietnam women's volleyball team coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet said: "The most important thing for Thanh Thuy at this time is to play to regain her form and feel for the game after a long period affected by injury. In my opinion, Thanh Thuy's decision to play in Indonesia at this stage is appropriate because the professional level of the tournament is moderate, so she will get plenty of playing time."

Persistent injuries sustained while playing in Japan prevented Thanh Thúy from regaining her peak form. This is why she couldn't establish herself at Kuzeyboru Club (Türkiye) and had to leave the European team early. Coach Nguyễn Tuấn Kiệt hopes Thanh Thúy will make a strong comeback when she plays in Indonesia.

In 2025, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team will compete in two major international tournaments: the 33rd SEA Games and the World Volleyball Championship, both in Thailand – tournaments where the Vietnamese team will greatly need Thanh Thúy's participation.
