Training lies within the framework of the project “Supporting to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities in provinces heavily sprayed with Agent Orange” (Inclusion Project) Organized by the Medical Committee of the Netherlands - Vietnam (MCNV) in collaboration with the Bach Mai Institute of Medicine and Pharmacy Research and Training and the Rehabilitation Center of Bach Mai Hospital with sponsorship from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
The course content includes 43 lessons from general to detailed about basic rehabilitation of common diseases, of which 80% are practice hours.

This is the second time MCNV has coordinated with Bach Mai Hospital to organize a 6-month training course on basic rehabilitation for doctors. According to Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Van Giap, Deputy Director of Bach Mai Hospital, the coordination between MCNV and Bach Mai Hospital bring much practical effectiveness for training, support, and transfer of professional techniques, contributing to creating conditions for patients and people with disabilities in remote areas to access quality medical services locally, reducing costs and travel time.
