There is a Trang An in the heart of every traveler.

Ninh Binh is blessed with many beautiful natural landscapes. My favorite moments were exploring the Trang An Eco- tourism Area. It boasts majestic and magnificent mountain scenery, surrounded by diverse and uniquely shaped peaks, and a system of pristine and mysterious caves such as Dia Linh Cave, Toi Cave, and Sang Cave… Here, you can admire the scenery while listening to locals tell the legends of the caves – it's truly fascinating. Although Ninh Binh attracts a large number of tourists, I found the natural landscape to be well-preserved, clean, and beautiful, the infrastructure is well-developed, and security is ensured. I will definitely return here many more times.

I remember that before 2007, many tourist spots in Ninh Binh still suffered from begging, harassment, and asking for tips. However, in the last decade, Ninh Binh tourism has changed rapidly, even admirably. Especially the behavior of the people has changed significantly. The previous social ills are gone, and spiritual tourist sites maintain a solemn and respectful atmosphere. I was particularly impressed by the farmers rowing boats in Ninh Binh. They not only possess a simple and kind nature but also know the stories and legends of this land… This is very important because the survival or loss of heritage fundamentally depends on people. When people truly love, protect, and develop heritage as their responsibility, then heritage will be sustainable and enduring. And in Ninh Binh, I sense that everyone seems proud and highly values their responsibility to protect heritage.

The scenery here is stunning! The majestic and poetic natural landscape, with its mountains, rivers, and lakes, is particularly captivating and mystical, largely untouched by human activity. I've traveled extensively, but few places offer such a harmonious and relaxing atmosphere. Everything seems so peaceful that I worry any unintentional action might disrupt this tranquil setting. The people here are especially kind and friendly. I have a particularly memorable experience with the people of Ninh Binh. Once, while traveling to Van Long Lagoon, my car broke down. Before I knew what to do, a local man came to inquire about my situation and helped me repair it. Despite the language barrier, I felt his genuine kindness. Thank you all for giving us such wonderful experiences. That's also why this is my second time returning to Ninh Binh.

I am currently a representative of the Asian Education and Experience Center. In recent years, we have been particularly attracted to the tourism potential of Vietnam in general and Ninh Binh province in particular. We have conducted numerous surveys and studies and confirmed that the Trang An World Cultural and Natural Heritage Site is very suitable for two elements of the Center's activities: education and experience. Currently, we have brought approximately 400 international tourists to Ninh Binh to participate in activities such as learning, research, tourism, and experiences at various destinations such as Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, Trang An, Tam Coc, Cuc Phuong National Park, etc. This is our effort towards the goal of "responsible tourism," inspiring the younger generation about nature conservation. In the future, the Center will continue to focus on the Vietnamese market, including coordinating and developing more educational and experiential tours in Ninh Binh as well as between Ninh Binh and other provinces, cities, and countries with heritage sites.

Mr. Alexei Makartsev (Expert working in Ninh Binh)

I've been in charge of research and development for overseas semiconductor technology projects in Vietnam for the past seven years. Ninh Binh is one of the places where I spend a significant amount of time working and living each year. During my free time, I often travel to explore and learn more about this region. I really enjoy the peaceful scenery here, and one of the defining characteristics, arguably the "identification code" of Ninh Binh tourism, is boat tours. From Tam Coc and Trang An to Van Long Lagoon, tourists can leisurely admire the scenery from these boats. To increase the attractiveness of local tourism, I think you need to preserve the existing pristine natural resources while also diversifying tourism offerings. I suggest adding activities like puppet shows, art performances, screenings of short films about national heroes, or experiences exploring local cuisine. These would be wonderful things to create more memorable experiences for tourists on their journey of discovery.
