In this session, VIC shares had the most positive impact on the VN-Index, contributing over 2.9 points to its rise. Conversely, VCB shares were heavily sold, subtracting over 2.3 points from the VN-Index.
On the HoSE exchange, the trading value in this session decreased sharply compared to the previous session, reaching over 15,731.09 billion VND.
Foreign investors net sold approximately 4,550 billion VND on the HoSE exchange. On the buying side,FPT shares were the most heavily bought with a value of over 117 billion VND, followed by VCI (108 billion VND), MWG (79 billion VND), VHM (63 billion VND), etc. Conversely, VIC was the most heavily sold (4,446 billion VND), followed by VNM (120 billion VND), HPG (98 billion VND), STB (85 billion VND), etc.
Today's session saw VN30 stocks close with 18 gainers, 7 unchanged, and 5 losers.
Specifically, VIC increased 4.57% to VND 71,000/share, SSB increased 3.48% to VND 19,350/share, VJC increased 3.04% to VND 88,000/share, GVR increased 2.98%, BVH increased 2.95%, LPB increased 2.91%, PLX increased 2.58%, VPB increased 1.49%, FPT increased 1.39%, MSN increased 1.6%, and TPB increased 1.16%.
The following stocks saw slight increases: CTG, HDB, MBB,SHB , SSI, STB, TCB, VHM.
Seven stocks remained at their reference prices, including:ACB , BCM, GAS, HPG, MWG, VNM, and VRE.
Conversely, VCB fell 2.02% to 58,100 VND/share, SAB decreased 1.26%, VIB fell 1.1%, and BID saw a slight decline.
In terms of sectors, steel stocks, excluding SMC which rose 2.01% to VND 7,620/share and VCA which fell 3.2% to VND 10,600/share, mostly experienced slight fluctuations. Specifically, TLH increased 1.01%, NKG saw a slight increase, HPG, DTL, and HMC remained unchanged, while HSG experienced a slight decrease.
The securities sector stocks recovered with a 0.86% increase. Besides SSI mentioned above, CTS rose 2.17%, VCI 2.17%, BSI 1.43%, VND 1.32%, VDS 1.37%, DSE, FTS, HCM, ORS, and VIX saw slight gains, while TCI remained unchanged. Conversely, TVB fell 3.41%, and AGR, APG, and TVS experienced slight declines.
Real estate stocks also performed well, closing the session up 1.36%. Besides VIC mentioned above, other stocks with strong gains included: TDH (up to its ceiling price), VRC (up 5.17%), KBC (up 4.37%), TN1 (up 4.03%), SZC (up 3.72%), DXS (up 3.42%), DIG (up 2.96%), HDG (up 2.93%), HPX and LHG (both up 2.47%),...
Conversely, although banking stocks traded predominantly in the green, they closed down 0.25% due to pressure from the leading stock VCB. Besides the VN30 group stocks ACB, BID, CTG, HDB, LPB, MBB, SHB, SSB, STB, TCB, TPB, VCB, VPB, and VIB mentioned above, other stocks such as EIB and OCB remained at the reference price, MSB saw a slight increase, and NAB decreased by 1.24%.
Other stock sectors such as consumer goods and home furnishings rose 2.74%, software increased 1.43%, materials gained 1.22%, while insurance, transportation, production materials, utilities, distribution, and durable goods retail saw slight increases.
Conversely, the telecommunications sector saw a 1.26% decline in stocks, while the food, beverage, and tobacco sectors experienced slight drops.
* The Vietnamese stock market index surged strongly at the end of today's session, with the VNXALL-Index closing up 15.87 points (+0.80%) at 2,004.44 points. Total market liquidity reached 748.69 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND 19,661.81 billion. Across the market, 224 stocks increased in price, 99 remained unchanged, and 126 decreased.
* On the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX), the HNX-Index closed at 209.58 points, up 0.17 points (+0.08%). Total trading volume reached over 54.32 million units, with a corresponding transaction value of over 847,998 billion VND. Across the entire exchange, there were 98 gainers, 55 unchanged stocks, and 61 losers.
The HNX30 index closed up 3.64 points (+0.89%) at 414.92 points. Trading volume reached approximately 37.96 million units, with a corresponding value of over 689.289 billion VND. Within the HNX30 group, 20 stocks increased, 5 remained unchanged, and 5 decreased.
On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM Index rose, closing at 90.53 points, up 0.15 points (+0.16%). Total market liquidity reached over 25.78 million shares traded, with a corresponding trading value of over 296.629 billion VND. Among UPCoM stocks, 151 ended the trading day higher, 81 remained unchanged, and 132 declined.

The VN30 index rose 9.78 points (+0.76%) to 1,303.03 points. Trading volume reached over 338.84 million units, equivalent to a transaction value of VND 11,959.74 billion. At the end of the trading day, 18 VN30 stocks increased, 7 remained unchanged, and 5 decreased.
