On the afternoon of October 13th, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province (Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism) officially responded to information regarding the Binh Thuan football club's accusation against Mr. Le Ba Hung, Director of the Provincial Center for Training, Coaching and Competition in Physical Education and Sports (the Center), for numerous irregularities during the past season.

According to the leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, immediately after receiving the complaints, the Department established a verification team headed by the Chief Inspector of the Department.
Verification results show that coaches and athletes who join Binh Thuan Club are paid their full salaries according to regulations, based on their professional qualifications.
Regarding bonuses, the budget does not include specific expenditure items; instead, funding must be mobilized through social contributions.
To provide motivational bonuses for the team, representatives from the Provincial People's Committee sent sponsorship invitation letters to businesses to solicit support.
However, due to the difficulties faced by businesses, the funds raised for the team's reward campaign so far have only amounted to over 92.5 million VND.
With this amount of money, the Center will present it to the coaching staff and athletes at the closing ceremony of the tournament, scheduled for October 18th.
Regarding the allegations that meal allowances for the tournament were being cut, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism explained that meal expenses were disbursed in accordance with the Circular of the Ministry of Finance and the Decision appointing participants to the tournament.
According to state regulations, the regular training allowance of 240,000 VND and the allowance for competition days of 320,000 VND must both be paid into the personal accounts of each coach and athlete.
The center made full payments from December 2022 to the end of August 2023.
Regarding the complaints that the entire team has not received any money for shoe allowances on a quarterly or annual basis, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has severely criticized the Center and requested that it urgently prepare the necessary documents and procedures to proceed with the purchase in accordance with regulations.
Meanwhile, the deduction of income tax for coaches and athletes is in accordance with regulations.
By the end of December 2023, for those who need a tax refund, the Center will process the refund for individuals according to regulations.
