According to a report from Ba Dinh Primary School to the Department of Education and Training of Bim Son town: At 9:00 AM on Friday, October 11, 2024, parent T.D.H, residing in Quarter 4, Ba Dinh Ward, Bim Son town, the father of TPN, a student in class 1B, reported to the school about an incident where teacher Vo Thi T., the homeroom teacher of class 1B, beat student TPN, leaving scratches and bruises on the child's back.

The parents showed the principal the results of the clinical examination, ultrasound, and X-ray from Bim Son Town General Hospital on the morning of October 11, 2024, and examined the actual condition of TPN's injuries. They also reviewed the CCTV footage from the math class on Thursday afternoon, from 2:25 PM to 3:00 PM, on October 10, 2024, with the principal.

Immediately after receiving the parents' report, the principal consulted with the school board and summoned teacher Vo Thi T. to give a statement about the incident. The school administration assigned another teacher to teach and supervise class 1B from noon on Friday, October 11, 2024. At 2 PM on Friday, October 11, 2024, the Principal of Ba Dinh Primary School submitted a report on the incident to the Department of Education and Training of Bim Son town.

On October 12, 2024, the school held a meeting of key staff to officially inform them of the incident and announce the temporary suspension of teaching duties for teacher Vo Thi T., the replacement of the homeroom teacher, and the assignment of the boarding teacher for class 1B. At the meeting, teacher Vo Thi T. seriously reviewed her actions, acknowledged that her behavior constituted a serious violation of teacher ethics, and requested to accept any disciplinary action from any authority and take responsibility to the students' families.

At 6 PM on Saturday, October 12, 2024, the school administration met with 10 parents representing 40 parents of class 1B to inform them of the situation, apologize to the parents, and appoint a new homeroom teacher. From Monday, October 14, 2024, the school allowed student TPN to transfer to another class according to her family's wishes.

On the afternoon of October 16th, a reporter from Thanh Hoa Newspaper met with Ba Dinh Primary School. The school's principal, Vo Dao Hoa, stated that Ms. Vo Thi T. is a university-educated teacher with many years of experience teaching first grade. She is currently a permanent employee. During her teaching career, she has a progressive spirit and always hopes for her students' progress. However, this may also be the reason for her impatience and "deviant" behavior. After the incident, Ms. Vo Thi T. expressed deep remorse and accepted full responsibility and any disciplinary action from the competent authorities.

"Ms. T.'s actions violated regulations for teachers, infringed upon the students' psychology and health, and damaged the reputation of teachers," added Ms. Vo Dao Hoa.

However, just one day later, the Parents' Association issued a document with the full signatures of the parents in the class requesting that she be allowed to continue as the class teacher and teach the students.

Following this unfortunate incident, the family hopes that the authorities will take appropriate action to prevent similar incidents from happening in the future.
