35 more OCOP products certified

According to the report of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, in 2024, the province will have 35 more products of 18 entities certified with 4-star OCOP, including 6 products upgraded from 3-star to 4-star, 7 products re-certified and 22 new products. In total, the province currently has 230 OCOP products of 133 participating entities.

In particular, the two dried purple sweet potato products of Dong Phat Food Company Limited (Binh Tan District) and freeze-dried durian of Sau Ri Company Limited (Long Ho District) were recognized as 5-star OCOP products by the Central OCOP Product Evaluation and Classification Council. These are also the first two 5-star OCOP products of Vinh Long province.
