19 resolutions unlock resources for a new phase of development in Vinh Long.(Chinhphu.vn) - Through 19 resolutions and 2 important reports at the third thematic session, the Vinh Long Provincial People's Council has perfected many mechanisms and policies in key areas, creating additional resources to promote the province's socio-economic development in the new period.
The Lam Dong Provincial People's Council focused its discussion on solutions for growth in the last six months of 2026.On the morning of July 2nd, continuing the program of the 4th Session of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Council, 11th term, 2026-2031, delegates focused on discussing the socio-economic development situation, national defense and security, state budget revenue and expenditure, development investment capital plan for the first six months of the year, and tasks and solutions for the last six months of 2026.
According to a report by the Department of Agriculture and Environment, in 2024, the province saw an additional 35 products from 18 entities receiving 4-star OCOP certification, including 6 products upgraded from 3-star to 4-star, 7 products re-certified, and 22 new products. Cumulatively, the province now has 230 OCOP products from 133 participating entities.
In particular, two products, dried purple sweet potatoes from Dong Phat Food Co., Ltd. (Binh Tan district) and freeze-dried durian from Sau Ri Co., Ltd. (Long Ho district), were recognized as 5-star OCOP products by the Central OCOP Product Evaluation and Classification Council. These are also the first two 5-star OCOP products in Vinh Long province.
