Immediately after receiving the information, the Vung Liem District Police directed its operational teams and the Trung Hieu Commune Police to promptly verify and clarify the incident. According to initial verification, the incident occurred at noon on September 23rd at Trung Hieu Secondary School. The cause stemmed from a personal conflict between students.

After verifying the incident, the Vung Liem District Police held a meeting with all the parents and students involved, with the participation of the school's management board. Currently, the unit is continuing to coordinate with the education sector to propose appropriate disciplinary action to the relevant authorities in accordance with regulations.

Ms. NTTN (the grandmother of student NHN) said that the family had taken her to the hospital for examination and treatment. Currently, N.'s health is basically stable.

As Thanh Nien newspaper reported, over the past few days, a more than 3-minute-long video clip has been circulating on Facebook, showing a group of 8th-grade students ganging up on a classmate, beating him with helmets, brooms, wooden chairs, and repeatedly kicking him in the head. The entire incident was recorded on a mobile phone by another student.

According to the video, more than four students used helmets, brooms, wooden chairs, etc., to beat a male student who was huddled on a chair against the classroom wall. Being beaten relentlessly, the boy could only cover his head and endure the assault while other students cheered and encouraged him.
