Dak Nong Provincial Police Department has a new director.

On the afternoon of October 16th, at the Dak Nong Provincial Police Department, acting on behalf of the Minister of Public Security , Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long, Deputy Minister of Public Security, announced the decision of the Minister of Public Security to transfer and appoint Colonel Ho Song An (born in 1978, from Quang Nam province), Deputy Director of the Quang Nam Provincial Police Department, to take up the position of Director of the Dak Nong Provincial Police Department.

At the decision-awarding ceremony, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long, Deputy Minister of Public Security, emphasized: "Comrade Ho Song An's transfer and appointment to the position of Director of the Dak Nong Provincial Police Department reflects the trust of the Central Public Security Party Committee, the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, and Dak Nong Province."

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long requested the new Director of the Dak Nong Provincial Police to promptly take over the responsibilities and, together with the Party Committee and leadership of the Dak Nong Provincial Police, uphold the tradition of unity and cohesion, effectively advise the local Party Committee and government on leadership and direction to maintain political security and social order, creating a stable environment for the socio-economic development of the locality.

Upon assuming his new role, Colonel Ho Song An, the new Director of the Dak Nong Provincial Police, acknowledged the directives and expressed his sincere and profound gratitude to the Central Party Committee of Public Security, the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee of Dak Nong, and the police forces of Quang Nam and Dak Nong provinces.

The new Director of the Dak Nong Provincial Police shared: "Inheriting and developing the fine achievements and heroic traditions that generations of leaders, officers, and soldiers of the Dak Nong Provincial Police have diligently cultivated, together with the Party Committee, the Board of Directors of the Provincial Police, and all officers and soldiers, we will excellently fulfill the assigned tasks, ensure good security and order, and build a clean and strong Dak Nong Police force."
