On March 6th, international media reported that Britney Spears had been arrested on suspicion of drunk driving in Ventura County, California (USA).
According to authorities, the singer was handcuffed by California Highway Patrol officers around 9:30 PM on March 5th. She was then taken to the Ventura County Sheriff's Office for processing. Arrest records indicate Britney Spears was later released and is scheduled to appear in court on May 4th.
