The A2A Community - Reading Station started with the desire to encourage more young people to read, especially children in rural areas, as well as to foster a spirit of "family reading together" to strengthen the bond between parents and children.

With that aspiration in mind, Tran Bao Tai (born in 1988, currently working in Ho Chi Minh City) and two friends established "A2A Community - Reading Station".
It's been exactly one year since Tài, Đức Huy, and Thanh Phúc sat down to plan this. Looking back, they said, "This is a new activity for the group, although we've done many other community projects before, mainly volunteer work."
The A2A Community - Reading Station aims to spread the joy of reading to every family.
According to Tài, none of the three are writers, but they all love books, enjoy reading, and find value in the pages of books. "The greatest value is that books open up a reader's perspective to be deeper and more multifaceted," Tài said.
"That's why we decided to promote reading culture through talk shows about writing and reading with children, so that children will love reading... in Ho Chi Minh City," Thanh Phuc shared.
True to their word, the group met with more people working in the book industry, some young writers, and speakers to research and choose topics and organizational methods to attract listeners. Duc Huy believes that a monthly talk show attracting around 30-40 people to listen to talks about books and reading culture is something to be happy about in the current context where many forms of entertainment dominate.
You can choose flexible locations, mostly cafes with charming spaces and a capacity of 30-40 people, so that the story can sufficiently inspire the audience.
"The program is truly fortunate to have received the empathy, affection, and active support of individuals such as Dr. Pham Thi Thuy - lecturer at the National Academy of Public Administration in Ho Chi Minh City, writer Van Thanh Le, writer Nguyen Dinh Khoa, young writer Phat Duong, photographer and author Tam Bui...", Tran Bao Tai happily said.
As the group leader and moderator for the interactive sessions, Tài said that the topics the group brings to young people, parents, and children are always relatable and practical. How to make children enjoy reading? What are the benefits of reading for children? How to write well?... These are the issues raised in the sharing sessions that the community enjoys listening to, and the number of new members is steadily increasing.

Mini libraries and contributions from the community.
Not stopping there, last November, the A2A Community - Reading Station carried out a series of meaningful activities in Dong Thap , inviting writers Tam Bui, Mac Yen, and Phat Duong to have a "real-life" interaction with students of Tran Quang Dieu Specialized High School (Cao Laanh City).
Ho Hong Han, head of the Book and Action Club at Nguyen Quang Dieu Specialized High School, expressed that the A2A Community - Reading Station has provided students with a very interesting playground. "I hope this activity will not only come to my school but also to many other schools."
In the land of lotus flowers, the students also visited Sa Dec City High School to donate a mini library to the school.
Thanh Phuc said that more than 60 books, covering a wide range of topics and formats, have found a "new home" at this school, adding more reading materials for the students.
Tran Bao Tai further explained the initiative: "The mini-library will be a small corner for students to relax, seek knowledge, and nurture their souls. Reading books not only helps them improve their vocabulary and thinking skills but also cultivates perseverance and creativity."
It was possible to accomplish quite a lot in a short time, thanks not only to the initiative of the members but also to the support of many companies, publishing houses, and friends. Many hands contributed anonymously, carrying several boxes of books; some authors even came to speak to the group without receiving any payment and donated books, bringing them together to form a "mini-library."
Speaking about this outpouring of support, Thanh Phuc said emotionally, "When you do something positive, you unexpectedly receive so much love in return."
A2A - "From heart to heart"
Phuc Huy stated that A2A is not just a name, but also a promise of genuine connection.
The initial A symbolizes leadership, representing individuals who are always at the forefront in creating positive values for the community.
The letter A, when placed in the middle and within the word HEART, symbolizes the heart, the place where the truest feelings, dreams, and aspirations reside.
And the number 2 acts as a bridge, connecting like-minded hearts and creating a strong support network.
