With this product, Cisco introduces the NVIDIA Cloud Partner-certified reference architecture for neocloud (a new generation of cloud infrastructure that specializes in providing GPUs and high-performance computing resources for AI applications) and sovereign cloud models.
For enterprise customers, Cisco is enhancing its Secure AI Factory platform in partnership with NVIDIA, by integrating new security and system observability solutions to improve protection and monitoring during AI deployments.

New technologies provide customers in the neocloud, enterprise and telecommunications sectors with flexibility and high compatibility.
To pave the way for next-generation connectivity in the telecommunications industry, Cisco, NVIDIA, and other industry partners have launched the first AI-enabled wireless network stack for 6G – a system of software and protocol layers designed to integrate artificial intelligence from the ground up. These innovations provide neocloud, enterprise, and telecommunications customers with flexibility and interoperability to efficiently build, manage, and secure large-scale AI infrastructure.
Ethernet networks on both the back-end and front-end need to be agile enough to keep up with the rapid pace of AI innovation, easily integrate with existing infrastructure, and be simple to deploy and manage. Expected to be available for order before the end of the year, the Cisco N9100 series switches offer the option of Cisco NX-OS or SONiC operating systems, elevating Ethernet for AI networks and providing greater flexibility in how neocloud and sovereign cloud customers build their AI infrastructure.
Additionally, for neocloud and sovereign cloud customers, the Cisco Cloud Reference Architecture builds on the design principles of NVIDIA’s cloud partner reference architecture and leverages powerful hardware solutions like Cisco Silicon One and Cloud-scale ASICs. The reference architecture will also include recently introduced components like the Cisco 8223 (based on the Silicon One P200 chip for network scaling), NVIDIA BlueField-4 DPU, and NVIDIA ConnectX-9 SuperNIC – cutting-edge hardware that supports high-performance AI infrastructure.
Since its introduction at GTC in March 2025, the Cisco Secure AI Factory platform in collaboration with NVIDIA has led the industry in providing enterprises with a comprehensive AI infrastructure architecture that puts security and system observability first without compromising performance...
The collaboration between Cisco and NVIDIA continues to accelerate, building on a shared vision of a scalable, operationally observable, and secure AI-powered future. The advances announced today are a testament to Cisco’s continued focus on innovation that will accelerate AI adoption across everything from business to telecommunications to the neocloud.
