Kpop company exposed by artist for lying

Recently, the incident of female singer and rapper Soyeon - leader of Kpop group (G)I-DLE - talking about the status of her contract signed with management company Cube Entertainment at a concert caused a stir.

Soyeon suddenly revealed the end date of her contract with Cube through her rap: "The contract will end in November. Who can stop me?".

However, on August 6, (G)I-DLE's leader directly clarified the issue through a post on Instagram. She said: "The number one thing I care about is how to make the audience feel excited. The second thing is how to make my group have more fun.

There are times when I seem extreme and have negative reactions, but I don't mean to lie or hurt anyone, or do anything wrong that would bother my conscience.

In this performance too, I did not write a single lie, nor did I hide it from the company. I showed it to them dozens of times during rehearsals, and that stage was completed by everyone together.

Having worked together for over 10 years, I never think badly of the company when reading articles in the media. Because just a little bit of miscommunication can completely change the meaning. However, I thought this would be an opportunity to see the company's shortcomings in providing feedback.
