Community park

QTO - Thanks to the concerted efforts of officials, Party members, businesses, and the people of Minh Hoa commune, a community park has been completed, becoming a meaningful cultural and sports hub and community bonding center.

To build the community park, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Minh Hoa commune launched a social mobilization campaign with the spirit of "the State and the People working together". The appeal letter received enthusiastic support from the Party committee, government, agencies, businesses, philanthropists, and all the people inside and outside the locality.

From April 9th ​​to 16th, 2026, thousands of people participated in leveling the ground, cleaning the environment, transporting materials, planting trees and grass, and completing construction projects. Everyone contributed, some with their labor, others with their resources, all sharing the common desire to create a green, clean, and beautiful space for the community.

Besides contributions of labor, the movement also received over 277 million VND in donations. Of this amount, cadres and Party members currently active in Party committees and branches under the commune Party committee contributed over 44.6 million VND; Party members working in other agencies and units but residing in the commune contributed over 212.8 million VND; businesses and production and business households contributed over 15.2 million VND; and generous donors contributed 5 million VND...

In addition to cash, many organizations and individuals also provided materials and supplies for the project, such as 30 cubic meters of construction sand, landscaping stones, 12 stone benches, 2 sets of swings, and hundreds of flower pots and ornamental plants. These contributions have helped create the spacious and green appearance of the park today.

Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Minh Hoa commune, Dinh Minh Tuan, said: “The process of mobilizing support for the construction of the community park received special attention from the Party Committee and the government, and a positive response from the people. What makes us happiest is the sense of responsibility and unity of the people. Many people, despite their difficult economic conditions, were still willing to contribute their efforts and money to build the project.”

Upon completion, the park became a space for recreation, exercise, and health training for people of all ages. The project contributed to improving the spiritual life, building a civilized lifestyle, and creating a green, clean, and beautiful environment for the center of Minh Hoa commune. More importantly, the project is the result of the collective efforts and unity of the entire community, demonstrating solidarity and responsibility towards the development of the locality.

According to a report from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Minh Hoa commune, the total funds used for the construction of community park facilities amounted to over 173 million VND, with over 104 million VND remaining. To ensure regular maintenance and long-term effectiveness of the project, this remaining amount will be used for repairs, maintenance, and the addition of necessary facilities in the future.

Director of Ha Lien Construction Materials Company, Dinh Thanh Ha, shared: “Material value is not the most important thing; what is truly valuable is the spirit of working together for the community. The company's development is thanks to the support of the local authorities and the people. Therefore, when the local authorities implemented projects serving the common good, the company donated 10 cubic meters of sand. Seeing the park completed, providing a place for people to exercise and play, we feel very happy and proud to have contributed a small part to this project.”

After two months of operation, the community park has become a popular spot for residents to walk, exercise, enjoy the scenery, and socialize. Ms. Dinh Thi Long, from residential group 3, was one of the individuals who contributed cash to the construction. She said: “I only contributed a small amount of money, but it feels very meaningful. This is a project for everyone, so those who can afford it contribute more, and those who are struggling contribute less; what matters is the intention.” Previously, Ms. Long used to walk along the roads to exercise. Since the park was built, her exercise routine has become more convenient and safer.

Mr. Dinh Xuan Duc, a resident living near the community park, happily said: “Every morning I go to the park to walk, exercise, and admire the flowers and trees. The air in the park is very fresh, and the scenery is beautiful. I think the park not only helps improve health but also creates more joy and strengthens the bond between people in the residential area. This is truly a valuable project.”

From a deserted plot of land, the Minh Hoa commune community park has today become a highlight in terms of landscape, environment, and cultural life of the locality. The success of the project lies not only in the money or labor invested, but also in the spirit of solidarity, consensus, and responsibility of each citizen towards their homeland.
