Real Madrid has confirmed that Rudiger has suffered a hamstring injury in his left leg. Initial assessments suggest it's a serious tear, forcing the German defender to miss 10 to 12 weeks of play.
The incident occurred during Real Madrid's final training session before their trip to Real Sociedad for the fourth round of La Liga. In the final minutes of training, Rudiger felt intense pain and had to leave the field immediately. Medical tests revealed he will be out until at least December.
With this injury, Rudiger will certainly miss Real Madrid's important upcoming matches, including the Champions League opening game against Marseille, the Madrid derby, the away game at Anfield against Liverpool, and the "El Clasico" against Barcelona.
