DTO - On April 22, Mr. Tran Van Sau - Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Dong Thap province and Mr. Nguyen Hai Anh - Vice President and General Secretary of the Vietnam Red Cross Society met with voters who are officials and civil servants of Tan Hong and Tam Nong districts.

At the meeting, voters requested the National Assembly to soon provide guidance on policies for part-time commune-level workers when their work ends; and at the same time, consider arranging for people with sufficient qualifications and working capacity to continue working. In addition, voters want the Central Government to invest in the expressway passing through Tan Hong district and National Highway N1 connecting to Tan Hong district; invest in housing for people in border areas; and build bridges connecting trade with communes.

Voters also recommended increasing investment in equipment and human resources for the grassroots health system, and soon having a roadmap to exempt hospital fees for people. Faced with the widespread situation of counterfeit goods affecting people's health, voters requested that authorities strengthen inspection, strictly handle and take measures to prevent online fraud. In addition, after merging administrative units, localities need to strictly manage public assets and public land to avoid waste.
Voters of Tam Nong district express their opinions
Through voters' opinions, Mr. Tran Van Sau - Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Dong Thap province suggested that local leaders do a good job of ideological work among cadres, civil servants and public employees to create consensus in the restructuring of the administrative apparatus, while ensuring the regime for affected subjects.

Speaking at the meeting with voters, Mr. Nguyen Hai Anh - Vice President and General Secretary of the Vietnam Red Cross Society said that central ministries and branches are considering to propose the Government to support policies for non-professional workers. The streamlining of the apparatus will be carried out democratically, not eliminating those who have contributed and have capacity. Localities need to develop a roadmap to assess capacity, consider and arrange jobs or organize recruitment exams.
