The prolonged heavy rains and flooding have submerged many areas in Da Nang. Numerous communes and wards have been isolated; landslides and flash floods in mountainous areas have caused severe damage. Throughout the area, the army, police, militia, border guards, and local authorities have simultaneously mobilized to rescue efforts, racing against time to protect the lives and property of the people.
