The showdown between HIEUTHUHAI and Rhyder

HIEUTHUHAI and Rhyder are two strong contenders competing in the "Most Impressive Young Face" category of the VTV Awards.

The VTV Awards - Impressive VTV 2024 has just announced the list of nominees for the "Impressive Young Face" category, including 22 people working in the fields of culture, arts, and sports .

The "Impressive Young Face in the Arts" category nominates young artists who have made positive contributions and left their mark in the past year.

The list of nominees includes Tran Tung Anh, Phuong My Chi, rappers Double2T, HIEUTHUHAI, Rhyder, director Dinh Ha Uyen Thu, and musician Hua Kim Tuyen.

Thus, the two "brothers," HIEUTHUHAI and Rhyder, will compete in this category. They are the winner and runner-up, respectively, of the "Brother Says Hi" program.

Over the past year, both HIEUTHUHAI and Rhyder have been very active and have made their mark.

HIEUTHUHAI has appeared on popular shows, from "Anh trai say hi" (Brother Says Hi) and "2 Days 1 Night" to "Rap Viet". He won first place in "Anh trai say hi" and his song "Trinh" reached number 1 on YouTube Trending in just 3 days.

He holds the record for the most times as a team captain on the show – 3 times – and also the record for the most wins with 4. The rapper has contributed to 3 songs that reached number 1 on YouTube's trending music charts: "Walk", "Kim phút kim giờ", and "Ngáo ngơ".

The show's popularity propelled HIEUTHUHAI's name to new heights. He became a widely discussed figure on social media, attracting significant media attention in the latter half of 2024.

Meanwhile, Rhyder also had a breakthrough performance with his participation in "Brother Says Hi". The young singer showed his ability to compose, produce music, sing, dance, and perform well.

Rhyder's song "Anh biết rồi" (I Know Now) was the first solo performance in the "Anh trai say hi" show to reach #1 on YouTube trending, faster than HIEUTHUHAI, Dương Domic, or Quang Hùng MasterD.

The first thing Rhyder did after becoming the runner-up was to organize his own live show. The sold-out show demonstrated the young singer's appeal 10 years after winning the first season of The Voice Kids Vietnam.
