"Hanoi Architecture - A Vietnamese-French Cultural Intersection" is a special book, featuring contributions from numerous groups and individuals both domestically and internationally, of various ages and professions, from reputable experts to young, creative enthusiasts. Notable contributors include Dr. Tran Quoc Bao, an architect, who handled the Vietnamese content; young translator Tham Yen Linh, who translated it into French; director Viet Linh, who contributed to the editing; and Tran Hai Anh, known for his popular graphic novel "Living" in both France and Vietnam, who served as the project leader. Furthermore, the book conveys the thoughts and feelings of Maurice Nguyen, a descendant of architect François Charles Lagisquet, one of the designers of the Hanoi Opera House.

The book's structure follows the characteristics of architecture from different periods, from the ancient Thang Long - Hanoi architecture to the French colonial era with styles such as Beaux-Arts, Art Deco, and Indochinese. The work also expands to include steel structures, Gothic Renaissance, and concludes with Hanoi architecture after 1954. Here, readers will witness images of buildings that are both familiar and unfamiliar, especially those that are difficult to access, such as the Office of the President , the Government Guest House, the Supreme People's Court, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Notably, the way people interact with these buildings is also recreated in various forms, from photographs to paintings.

The book is published in a bilingual Vietnamese-French format by Phanbook and The World Publishing House.

Mr. Nguyen Chanh Phuong, representative of AA Corporation, the initiator of the project, said that the book's target audience is young people, followed by architects and those interested in heritage. Therefore, the writing style, design, presentation, and layout are all consistent with a relatable and fresh approach. From this, it is hoped that young people will gain a new perspective and become more interested in heritage.
