Enforced land acquisition for Nguyen Trai bridge construction

8 households were forced to relocate people and property out of the land acquisition area to implement the Nguyen Trai Bridge Construction Investment Project (Hai Phong).

On the morning of October 24, the Land Reclamation Enforcement Board of Ngo Quyen Ward ( Hai Phong ) organized land reclamation enforcement for the remaining households in the two collective housing areas at 8 May To and 6 Nguyen Trai that have not yet complied with the handover of land for the construction of the Nguyen Trai Bridge Investment Project and urban beautification of the surrounding area.

Forces performing enforcement tasks.

The two apartment buildings at 8 May To and 6 Nguyen Trai were recovered to implement the project with an area of ​​nearly 760 ^m2 , involving 35 households. After many times of propaganda and mobilization, by October 22, 2025, 9 households agreed to receive money and hand over the land, while 26 households did not agree.

From October 22, 2025, the Ngo Quyen Ward Land Acquisition Enforcement Board will continue to organize dialogues and mobilize land handover before organizing land acquisition enforcement for the above 26 households.

The authorities carried out enforcement.

On October 23 and before the enforcement, 18/26 households agreed to hand over the premises; 8 households had to be enforced, including 6 households in the collective housing area at 8 May To and 2 households in the housing area at 6 Nguyen Trai.

This morning, a representative of the People's Committee of Ngo Quyen Ward read the notice of forced land recovery for the remaining 8 households.

The Ngo Quyen Ward Land Recovery Enforcement Board organized the relocation of people and property of households out of the area, ensuring security, safety and following the correct procedures prescribed by law.

After enforcement, Ngo Quyen ward carried out procedures to hand over the area to the investor to manage and implement the construction project.
