
On the morning of October 24, the Land Reclamation Enforcement Board of Ngo Quyen Ward ( Hai Phong ) organized land reclamation enforcement for the remaining households in the two collective housing areas at 8 May To and 6 Nguyen Trai that have not yet complied with the handover of land for the construction of the Nguyen Trai Bridge Investment Project and urban beautification of the surrounding area.

The two apartment buildings at 8 May To and 6 Nguyen Trai, covering an area of nearly 760 m² and affecting 35 households, were reclaimed for the project. After numerous attempts at persuasion and negotiation, by October 22, 2025, 9 households had agreed to accept compensation and hand over the land, while 26 households remained uncooperative.
From October 22, 2025, the Land Reclamation Enforcement Committee of Ngo Quyen Ward will continue to organize dialogues and persuade residents to hand over the land before carrying out the forced land reclamation against the 26 households mentioned above.

On October 23rd, and prior to the forced eviction, 18 out of 26 households agreed to hand over the land; the remaining 8 households required forced eviction, including 6 households in the apartment complex at 8 May To and 2 households in the building at 6 Nguyen Trai.
This morning, representatives from the Ngo Quyen Ward People's Committee read out the notice of forced land reclamation against the remaining 8 households.
The Land Reclamation Enforcement Board of Ngo Quyen Ward organized the relocation of people and property of households out of the area, ensuring security, safety and in accordance with the procedures stipulated by law.
Following the forced eviction, Ngo Quyen ward carried out the procedures to hand over the land area to the investor for management and construction of the project.
