Consumers today are increasingly inclined to use clean agricultural products and food for their own health and that of their families. The development of modern supermarket and retail systems plays a significant role in bringing these products closer to consumers, as most are subject to quality control, packaging, and pricing regulations.

Trang Phuc, a representative from the marketing department of Co.opmart Bien Hoa (Tam Hiep ward, Dong Nai province), stated: "Consumers are interested in fresh food, clean agricultural products, hydroponically grown produce, and products with clear origins, especially those meeting VietGAP and GlobalGAP standards. In the current competitive market, the price gap between clean and organic agricultural products and conventional food products has narrowed. Therefore, consumers have more choices when shopping. Green, clean, and healthy products also cater to a wider range of customer segments."

Consumer trends are changing, with a greater interest in organic products, nutritious foods, and fruits with clear origins. Therefore, many manufacturing businesses and retail supply chains are focusing on investing in production technology and strengthening linkages to supply clean, high-quality products to meet the growing demands of the market.
