Nghe An is also a cradle of long-standing traditional culture with many historical sites and scenic spots. According to current statistics, the province has 375 classified historical sites, including 3 special national historical sites, 137 national historical sites, and 235 provincial-level historical sites. Each historical site is usually associated with a worshipped figure, which could be the village tutelary deity, nature deity, human deity, revolutionary hero, cultural entrepreneur, etc. The system of historical sites in Nghe An is born and nurtured by the beliefs, ethics, and traditional customs of the nation, thus possessing enduring and powerful vitality and influence.
With its unique geographical and cultural characteristics, Nghe An boasts a diverse range of traditional festivals, with 29 festivals taking place throughout the year. Nghe An is also a land of traditional festivals: family festivals, clan festivals, village festivals, regional festivals, ethnic festivals, religious festivals… especially those associated with historical sites. It's no coincidence that most festival names are linked to the names of historical sites, such as: Cờn Temple Festival, Quả Sơn Temple Festival, Vua Mai Temple Festival, Cuông Temple Festival, Chín Gian Temple Festival…. Each festival possesses its own distinctive features and values, but they all share a common thread: a bridge between the past and the present; a way for each citizen to better understand the history of nation-building and defense, as well as the traditional values and rich national culture.

the "Happy Vietnam" photo and video contest continued to be organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications in collaboration with the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists on the website.
https://happy.vietnam.vn is open to all Vietnamese citizens and foreigners aged 15 and above. The competition aims to honor individuals and groups with positive informational products that make practical contributions to promoting a beautiful image of Vietnam to the world. Through this, it helps people at home, overseas Vietnamese, and international friends access authentic images of Vietnam, its people, its achievements in ensuring human rights, and working towards a happy Vietnam. Each competition category (photos and videos) has the following prizes and prize values: – 1 Gold Medal: 70,000,000 VND – 2 Silver Medals: 20,000,000 VND – 3 Bronze Medals: 10,000,000 VND – 10 Consolation Prizes: 5,000,000 VND – 1 Most Voted entry: 5,000,000 VND. Winning authors will be invited by the Organizing Committee to attend the Award Ceremony and Certificate Presentation, broadcast live on Vietnam Television.
