Colonel Nguyen Thanh Hai has been appointed Director of the Tra Vinh Provincial Police.

On the afternoon of August 15th, in Tra Vinh province, the Ministry of Public Security held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Minister of Public Security regarding the transfer and appointment of Colonel Nguyen Thanh Hai as Director of the Tra Vinh Provincial Police Department. Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Deputy Minister of Public Security, attended and presided over the ceremony.

At the ceremony, the leaders of the Personnel Department of the Ministry of Public Security announced the decision of the Minister of Public Security regarding the transfer and appointment of Colonel Nguyen Thanh Hai, born in 1973, from Tan Hong district, Dong Thap province, Deputy Director of the Dong Thap Provincial Police, to take up the position of Director of the Tra Vinh Provincial Police. They also announced the decision to transfer Colonel Tran Xuan Anh, born in 1975, from Can Loc district, Ha Tinh province, Director of the Tra Vinh Provincial Police, to take up the position of Director of the Thai Binh Provincial Police. Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung highly appreciated the sense of responsibility and contributions of Colonel Tran Xuan Anh during his time as Director of the Tra Vinh Provincial Police, especially his effective work with the Party Committee and the leadership of the Provincial Police in ensuring security and social order in the province. Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung requested Colonel Nguyen Thanh Hai to quickly take up his new position and utilize his abilities and experience in his work. He advises the local Party committee and government on leading and directing the effective implementation of political security, order, and social safety work in the locality. Deputy Minister of Public Security Le Quoc Hung expressed confidence that Colonel Nguyen Thanh Hai will excellently fulfill all tasks assigned by the Party Committee, the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security; and the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee of Tra Vinh province.

Colonel Nguyen Thanh Hai, Director of the Tra Vinh Provincial Police, received the directives from the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, the Provincial Party Committee, and the People's Committee of Tra Vinh province; and is determined to work with the leadership team to build a clean and strong provincial police force, meeting the requirements and tasks of ensuring security and order, for the peace and happiness of the people.
