Dakruco launched rubber and coffee planting

On the morning of June 17, Dak Lak Rubber Joint Stock Company (Dakruco) held a launching ceremony for rubber and coffee planting under the 2025 project of planting and caring for rubber intercropped with coffee at Cu M'gar Farm Branch.

The project of planting new rubber trees and taking care of them intercropped with coffee trees was implemented on a scale of 759 hectares, of which more than 729 hectares were planted with rubber intercropped with coffee trees and nearly 30 hectares for other purposes. The total investment capital of the project was nearly 400 billion VND.

With a three-year investment phase for new planting (from 2025 to 2027) and then basic construction care. The average yield of the entire rubber plantation is expected to reach 1.78 tons/ha/year, with an exploitation period of 22 years, reaching a total output for the entire business cycle of about 28,656 tons. For coffee trees, the average yield is expected to be 4.1 tons/ha/year, with a total harvest output for the entire business cycle of 12 years reaching about 28,928 tons.

The total revenue of the project reached over 3,282 billion VND, of which the net profit was 977 billion VND. The project implementation will create more jobs for 250 - 270 local workers, generating an average income of about 8.5 million VND/person/month. Thereby, creating sustainable development of the rubber industry, increasing the economic value of agriculture, contributing to the transformation of crop structure, promoting local socio-economic development.

Dakruco General Director Nguyen Minh affirmed that the company is one of the leading enterprises in the Central Highlands in terms of experience in planting, caring for and processing rubber trees. In addition, 80% of the company's staff and workers have been planting coffee trees for many years. With a team of well-trained and strong staff, Dakruco is confident in its experience in planting and caring for rubber and coffee trees to complete the goal, bringing efficiency to the project.

After the ceremony, the company's leaders, officers and workers started planting new rubber trees combined with coffee according to technical procedures at Cu M'gar Farm.
