On the morning of July 1st, the Ministry of Education and Training announced the high school graduation exam results for over 1.2 million candidates. This year, the top scorer in the A00 subject combination (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry) continued to achieve a perfect 30/30, but only one student, from Bac Ninh province, achieved this score.

In the B00 subject combination (Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology), three candidates from Ho Chi Minh City all achieved 30 points. One student from Dak Lak also achieved this score.

Meanwhile, the top three students in the A01, D01, and C00 subject combinations are all from Hanoi, with scores of 29.75, 29, and 28.75 respectively. In the A01 combination, there is an additional candidate from Hung Yen who also achieved a score of 29.75.

The 2026 high school graduation exam took place from June 10-12 with over 1.2 million candidates. After receiving their exam results, from July 1-5, candidates who wish to appeal can submit their appeal applications at the place where they registered for the exam. Within 15 days from the deadline for receiving appeal applications, the examination board will announce and notify the candidates of the appeal results.

By July 3rd at the latest, candidates will be considered for high school graduation. Before July 7th, they will be issued a temporary graduation certificate and a certificate of exam results. The final decision on high school graduation after the appeal process will be made before July 23rd.

Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements, have not had their results canceled due to disciplinary action, achieve more than 1 point in all subjects, and have a graduation score of 5 points or higher are recognized as having graduated from high school.
