Effective and skillful mass mobilization speaks volumes.

New bridges, effective economic models, and advancements in digital transformation have contributed to changing the face and developing the socio-economic landscape of the locality. Behind these changes lies the flexible, people-oriented, and persistent efforts of the entire political system, inspiring the people to work together to build their homeland.

A bridge of people's hearts

In the final days of the year, Mr. Huynh Thanh Phong, residing in Thanh Xuan hamlet, Thanh Hung commune, stood by the Thot Not canal, gazing at the bridge under construction, and remarked admiringly, "With this bridge, students and villagers can travel and transport goods much more conveniently." Mr. Phong donated land and contributed funds for the bridge's construction. For a long time, crossing the river was very inconvenient for students, especially during rainy and windy weather; it was even more difficult for elderly people needing emergency medical care.

On the Thot Not canal, the first concrete pillars of the new bridge have been erected, with construction progressing according to schedule. The bridge is 48m long, 4m wide, and has a load capacity of 5 tons. The total construction cost is 800 million VND, funded by contributions from the people and philanthropists.

According to Tran Van Nghia, Secretary of the Party Committee of Thanh Hung commune, in 2025, Thanh Hung commune will mobilize resources to build 10 rural traffic bridges, with a total cost of over 3 billion VND. “We are focusing on infrastructure development, mobilizing the people and religious organizations to work together. Each new bridge will not only facilitate travel and goods transportation but also create momentum for the increasingly vibrant appearance of the rural area,” Mr. Nghia said.

Effective mass mobilization opens up livelihood opportunities.

Giồng Riềng also "builds bridges to livelihoods" for households to develop garden-based economic activities . The commune Party Committee has identified this as a key task and included it in its annual resolutions. Each Party branch and mass organization is assigned the task of going to households to mobilize support, provide technical guidance, and connect people with preferential loans so that they can confidently switch to new models.

Thanks to that perseverance, many families have become prosperous, like Ms. Le Nguyen Minh Trang, residing in Hamlet 8. In the early years of her career, she grew mangoes and dragon fruit, but the income was unstable, and many seasons she barely broke even. In 2017, after being visited by the Women's Union of the commune to encourage her to switch to more suitable crops, she boldly experimented with planting 30 guava trees. Seeing that guavas are easy to care for, produce delicious fruit, and have a stable market, she expanded her orchard.

Leaders of Giồng Riềng commune visited a guava farming model implemented by local residents.

A new opportunity opened up when Ms. Trang received a 100 million VND loan from the 2021 employment creation fund. She expanded her guava cultivation area to 500 trees, invested in an irrigation system, fertilizers, and fruit bagging techniques. Currently, she harvests about 200 kg of guavas every 10 days, selling them at 15,000 VND/kg, earning a profit of over 100 million VND per year. "Without the women's association's guidance and financial support, I would hardly have achieved what I have today," Ms. Trang shared.

Thanks to being close to the people, many models of integrated farming (gardens, ponds, livestock), fruit tree cultivation, and vegetable farming that generate incomes of 100-500 million VND per household per year are increasingly widespread. Mr. Chau Hoang Anh, Head of the Party Building Committee of Giong Rieng Commune Party Committee, said that the commune currently has 36 hamlet-level people's mobilization teams, implementing more than 100 effective "skilled people's mobilization" models, creating strong changes in poverty reduction and improving the quality of life for the people.

Digital transformation starts with each member.

Following the merger, the organizational structure became more streamlined, but the workload increased, requiring each "effective mass mobilization" model to be truly practical and create direct changes in people's lives. In Vinh Binh commune, this direction was chosen through the fanpage model "Vinh Binh Women Doing Online Business" - a practical approach that aligns with current trends.

According to the Women's Union of Vinh Binh commune, in the past, women in the commune had many distinctive products such as pineapple syrup, oyster mushrooms, sprouts, etc., but they were mainly sold within the commune. Many women were unfamiliar with posting on social media platforms, making it difficult to expand their customer base. The Union created a fan page to promote products, providing hands-on guidance to members, from taking photos and videos of the production process, writing product descriptions, to answering customer inquiries. These guidance sessions, integrated into regular meetings, helped women confidently change their methods and approach online business.

Officials from the Women's Union of Vinh Binh commune introduce a fanpage that supports members in online business.

“At first, I only posted a few bottles of pineapple-flavored water, but unexpectedly, many customers inquired about buying them. Some customers came from Phu Quoc and Long Xuyen, which made me very happy. What I like most about the fanpage is that it allows me to quickly update announcements from the commune,” said Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam Tu, a resident of Hoa Thanh hamlet.

The model has attracted over 60 members, selling approximately 300 orders per month and helping women earn a stable income of 6-7 million VND per person per month. The fanpage also serves as a community communication channel, posting vaccination schedules, commune announcements, weather forecasts, and disease prevention and control information, helping people stay informed quickly.

According to Tong Phuoc Truong, Standing Committee Member and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, in 2025, "effective mass mobilization" models such as building rural roads and bridges, supporting family economic development, constructing solidarity houses, and promoting digital transformation among the people have yielded clear results and created a ripple effect in the community. This practical experience affirms the role of propaganda and mass mobilization work in unifying will and action within the Party, consolidating trust, and creating consensus among cadres, Party members, and the people. Close coordination between the Fatherland Front, political and social organizations, and local authorities is the foundation for the sustainable development of "effective mass mobilization" models, contributing to socio-economic development, improving people's lives, and maintaining political stability in the locality.
