Singer Luong Ngoc Diep passed away at the age of 37.
Singer Luong Ngoc Diep passed away at the age of 37 (on April 18th in Hai Phong ) due to a stroke, leaving colleagues and fans saddened. The funeral and burial ceremony was held on the morning of April 19th.
Information from singer Luong Ngoc Diep's relatives indicates that the singer's health was completely normal before her death.
"At 10 a.m. on April 17th, Diep received a call from the hospital informing her that she had leukemia. At lunchtime, we still ate together and chatted as usual. However, she ate less than usual and seemed tired. Around 1 p.m., Diep complained of a headache. I immediately took her to the emergency room."
"After the examination, her condition worsened, and the doctor gave a poor prognosis, saying she could not be saved. The family brought Diep back to her hometown in Hai Phong, and she passed away at 0:22 AM on April 18th," recounted a family member of singer Luong Ngoc Diep.
Singer Luong Ngoc Diep is the youngest of three siblings. Her father passed away long ago, and her mother is elderly and frail. Luong Ngoc Diep is a single mother, living with her daughter in Quang Ninh .
Luong Ngoc Diep was born in 1987 in Hai Phong. After graduating from high school, she applied to the University of Foreign Languages Education but was unsuccessful. In 2005, she started working at Quang Hanh Coal Company. The turning point that led Luong Ngoc Diep to pursue a singing career was when she participated in the TKV Mass Art Festival in 2006 and won the Gold Medal in solo singing.

Singer Luong Ngoc Diep passed the entrance exam to the University of Mining and Geology, majoring in Business Administration, and then worked as an office employee at Hon Gai Coal Mining Company. After graduating from the University of Mining and Geology in 2010, she continued her studies by taking the entrance exam for the English Department at Thai Nguyen University and completed her program in 2013.
Alongside her English major, Luong Ngoc Diep applied to and passed the entrance exam for the Chinese Language Department at Hanoi University of Foreign Languages. Later, Luong Ngoc Diep pursued postgraduate studies at the Guangxi Academy of Arts in China.
Throughout her artistic career, Luong Ngoc Diep has participated in numerous competitions and won awards such as Second Prize in the Quang Ninh Television Singing Contest 2009, First Prize in the mountainous and coastal region of Northern Vietnam at the Vietnam-China Friendship Singing Contest 2010, and Outstanding Young Face of Quang Ninh Province in the field of Culture and Arts…
Luong Ngoc Diep is a close friend of singer Pham Thu Ha.
In 2022, Luong Ngoc Diep released the CD "Dreaming of Love," featuring songs she composed and performed herself. The singer shared that she isn't wealthy, but she has a burning passion for music.
