Mr. Nguyen Bao Quoc, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, said that this year's 10th grade exam will reduce the percentage of comprehension questions to 60% instead of 70-75% as in previous years. Questions requiring application will increase to 40%, in line with the goal of evaluating students according to the 2018 generaleducation program.
The Literature test has wide coverage and is designed to assess reading comprehension and writing skills.
The Math test will cover geometry and measurement; numbers and algebra; statistics and probability. The test assesses thinking and reasoning skills, problem solving, and mathematical modeling.
