A large number of book lovers, especially students, were excited to attend the book launch and chat with the two speakers, author Dr. Le Vu Truong Giang (Faculty of Science , Hue University) and Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tam (Faculty of Education, Hue University).

“Legions of Remembrance - Vietnamese Landscapes in Literature” (compiled by Thanh Nguyet and Quynh Lien) is an artbook that compiles the best excerpts from high school textbooks about the beautiful landscapes of Vietnam, combined with paintings by modern artists. The book includes 35 excerpts of poems and short stories by Vietnamese authors from the medieval to the modern era, guiding readers to various regions across our beloved S-shaped land.

Through the lens of literature, the landscapes are depicted with the perspective, emotions, imagination, and creativity of each author. Therefore, literary works in particular, and art in general, always take people further than what they see every day. Painting follows in the footsteps of literature, continuing that journey, giving readers a different, richer perspective and feeling about the regions of their homeland. This book is like a vast map of the rich and vibrant landscapes of our homeland, making each of us love and be proud of it even more.

Meanwhile, the book "The Land of Brocade Flowers" (compiled by Vo Thi Mai Chi and illustrated by Ho Quoc Cuong) is a publication fully funded by Kim Dong Publishing House. It's printed in color on high-quality paper, in a large format, and compiled in the form of an atlas with illustrations. Presented and guided by a map of Vietnam, the book helps readers discover and consolidate a vast amount of knowledge, yet concisely and clearly presented, about the culture, history, geography, cuisine , and people of all 63 provinces and cities. Aimed at young readers, the book is presented in a very attractive, lively, and systematic way, like a journey through the country.

Besides introducing the two books, the two speakers, Le Vu Truong Giang and Nguyen Thanh Tam, shared their travel and writing experiences. They also hoped that, in addition to traveling through books, people would have the opportunity to experience Vietnam firsthand, thus fostering a deeper love for the beloved country.
