Promoting industrial promotion activities, supporting the development of IT production facilities, and diversifying industries and services are measures that Dong Nai is promoting.

Rural industry develops rapidly

Over the years, enterprises and IT establishments in the province have always strived to find outlets for their products. Step by step, they have affirmed their quality and brand and strived to connect, cooperate and integrate with the world .

For example, the product brand Ba Tu Binh Phuoc Cashew Nuts of Gia Bao Group Joint Stock Company has many designs that have been honored to receive certificates of typical rural products. In 2025 alone, the company's cashew nuts with skin, cashew nuts with skin, dried macadamia nuts, and garlic and chili cashew nuts have been certified as typical rural products at the national level.

According to Mr. Tran Van Son, Director of Gia Bao Group Joint Stock Company, the enterprise has built hundreds of hectares of raw cashew trees and the goal by 2030 is to develop to more than 1,000 hectares, while building a specialized and methodical production chain.

Similarly, Trong Duc Cacao Company Limited (Phu Hoa Commune) is known as one of the largest cocoa growers and processors in Vietnam. This enterprise has pioneered the implementation of a large-scale field model, closely combining production and consumption processes since 2015. Up to now, the cocoa cultivation area has reached more than 700 hectares in Dong Nai province and some neighboring provinces and cities.

According to Mr. Dang Tuong Khanh, Director of Trong Duc Cacao Company Limited, the company has more than 50 products processed from agricultural products, mainly from cocoa. The company continues to focus on investing in deep processing and diversifying products to increase the value of this crop.

Although there are many potentials and many typical examples have risen and developed, in general, the province's industrial parks still have limitations. Accordingly, although the number of establishments is relatively large, the industrial park production value only accounts for 9% of the total industrial production value of the whole province. The scale of business households is the majority in the industrial parks, so it is in great need of support solutions from the State, especially industrial promotion policies to promote sustainable development.

Focus on industrial promotion solutions

In recent times, Dong Nai Industrial Promotion and Industrial Development Consulting Center, based on its assigned functions and tasks, has implemented many industrial promotion solutions in the area. Industrial promotion activities focus on implementing priority support contents, promoting comparative advantages and strengths of resources in each locality such as: raw materials, markets and labor. Support contents are carefully selected to ensure focus, key points, and spread to create a clear shift for the development of industrial establishments in the area.

To promote the development of IT and implement industrial promotion policies, on August 27, 2025, the Government issued Decree 235/2025/ND-CP amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 45/2012/ND-CP dated May 21, 2012 on industrial promotion, which took effect from October 15, 2025. One of the important points of this decree is to redefine the beneficiaries of the policy.
Accordingly, groups that benefit from industrial promotion policies include: small and medium enterprises, cooperatives, business households directly investing in industrial and handicraft production in communes, wards, and special zones; production establishments applying cleaner production, sustainable production and consumption. In addition, enterprises and cooperatives investing in building industrial cluster infrastructure; folk artisans, excellent artisans in the field of handicrafts and domestic and international organizations and individuals participating in industrial promotion services will also be supported.

In 2025 alone, the industrial promotion program focuses on 8 key projects: learning from experience, improving management capacity, applying advanced machinery, voting for typical IT products, participating in fairs and exhibitions, improving organizational and implementation capacity, maintaining showrooms and promoting industrial promotion.

At the end of November 2025, the province organized the Exhibition Fair of Typical Industrial Products of the Southeast Region - Dong Nai in 2025. This is an important event, bringing many practical values to businesses, consumers and the development of the industry and trade sector of the Southeast region. The fair has a scale of 250 booths with the participation of 115 units nationwide. Of which, Dong Nai province has 25 participating units with 60 booths.

Mr. Tran Minh Dat, Director of Dong Nai Industrial Promotion and Industrial Development Consulting Center, said: The fair attracted 10,000 visitors and shoppers with an estimated revenue of about 10 billion VND. The center will continue to make efforts to coordinate with relevant units to implement specific activities to improve the effectiveness of industrial promotion policies in the area.

According to Mr. Van Huu Dong, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, one of the important tasks of the industry is to build and perfect the system of regulations and procedures on industrial promotion activities in the locality. In the period of 2026-2030, develop a plan in accordance with the province's industrial development plan to 2030, with a vision to 2050. Regarding the task of the Dong Nai Industrial Promotion and Industrial Development Consulting Center, it is necessary to proactively connect with industrial promotion establishments, implement specific support policies, and help industrial promotion establishments develop sustainably.
