People are gradually changing their habits.
Recently, along many roads in An Ninh commune, the sight of Youth Union members and bank staff visiting households and businesses to assist with setting up electronic payment accounts and guiding people on scanning QR codes has become familiar. From small roadside stalls and convenience stores to private clinics, many households have begun to adopt and use cashless payment methods.
As someone who used to be hesitant about technology, Ms. Pham Thi Thu Loan (residing in An Hiep hamlet, An Ninh commune) said that she was quite confused when using electronic payment applications due to her age and unfamiliarity with smartphone operation. “I was very reluctant to use electronic devices for payment because I found them clumsy and difficult to use, but thanks to the Youth Union and Agribank staff who came to my house to guide me on how to scan codes, enter codes, and transfer money, I am now gradually getting used to it,” Ms. Loan shared.
According to Ms. Loan, implementing QR code payment has made work at her family's clinic more convenient, reducing the need to prepare small change or making mistakes when giving change to customers.

Not only Ms. Loan, but many businesses in An Ninh commune have also begun to change their transaction habits. While previously people mainly paid with cash, now bank transfers via phone have become more common, especially among small traders, restaurants, and small shops. This change not only makes transactions faster and more convenient but also contributes to the formation of modern and safe consumer habits within the community.
Working together to bring digital transformation closer to the people.
To ensure that cashless payments truly become a part of daily life, An Ninh commune, in coordination with various units, has launched numerous campaigns to implement the "Cashless Road" initiative .
According to Le Minh Toan, Director of Loc Giang Transaction Office, Agribank Tan My Bac Long An Branch, the unit has recently coordinated with the Youth Union of An Ninh commune to implement activities supporting people in accessing digital banking services.

“During the outreach programs, the bank, in coordination with the Youth Union, went to each household and business to assist in opening payment accounts, installing e-banking applications, setting up QR codes, and deploying loudspeakers to announce account information. This helped people make payments more quickly and conveniently,” said Mr. Le Minh Toan. According to Mr. Toan, it is encouraging that the program has received a positive response from the people. Many businesses, after receiving guidance, have proactively adopted the new payment method in their daily transactions.
Participating in the campaigns, Ly Thi Ngoc Diep, Secretary of the Youth Union of Loc Thuan hamlet, An Ninh commune, commented: the Cashless Road model is a practical activity, in line with the current trend of digital transformation. “To date, An Ninh commune has carried out 3 campaigns with the large participation of Youth Union members and received a very positive response from the people,” Ms. Diep said. According to Ms. Diep, during the installation process, many people were initially hesitant, but after receiving direct guidance, they confidently used the new payment method and gave positive feedback on its convenience.
Through concrete actions, the Cashless Route model is contributing to making digital transformation more substantive, helping people access technological conveniences in their daily lives more easily.
The collaboration of youth union members, the banking sector, and the proactive adaptability of the people have created positive changes in the locality. Not only has digital transformation changed payment habits, but it has also opened up opportunities to build a more modern, transparent, and convenient transaction environment in rural communities.
