The Literature exam has a high degree of differentiation.
The Literature exam was assessed as closely following the 2018 General Education Program and having a high degree of differentiation, accurately evaluating students' abilities. Placing students in an "era of self-improvement" directly targeted their actual capabilities, rather than relying on luck or rote memorization.

Considering the exam questions to be topical, relevant to real life, and also touching on the emotions of the candidates, Nguyen Quang Minh (a student from Quy Nhon National High School) expressed: "I was impressed with the question 'From the perspective of young people, how should artificial intelligence (AI) be used to create intellectual synergy?' This question creates an open space, requiring students to have real-world experience and an independent perspective."

“The literary analysis section, specifically the poem "The Leaves" by poet Nguyen Dinh Thi, gave me a lot of inspiration to analyze and integrate both the content and artistic aspects. From that, I was able to draw out a message about living a beautiful and meaningful life…” - Quang Minh expressed.

Leaving the exam room in a cheerful mood, candidate Pham Thi Nhu Quynh (from Hung Vuong Specialized High School) shared: “In my opinion, in the context of strong scientific and technological development and the country entering an era of progress, young people need to proactively learn, improve their abilities, know how to utilize technology effectively and responsibly to contribute to the overall development of society. The literature exam made a strong impression on me.”
Sharing the same sentiment, Nguyen Luu Bao Tuan excitedly said: “The exam questions were topical, relevant to students, not too tricky, and provided opportunities for candidates to develop their thinking skills and relate to real-world situations. I am confident that I can score above 8 points in Literature.”

At the exam center at Phu Cat No. 1 High School, after the Literature exam, students were in a fairly relaxed mood and felt that the questions mainly applied real-life experiences and social knowledge.
Candidate Dang Bao Han (a student from Phu Cat No. 1 High School) commented: The exam questions had a new approach by addressing science and technology, innovation, artificial intelligence, and the role of these fields in the country's development. The questions were not too difficult but required candidates to have logical thinking, practical knowledge, and an interest in current affairs.

Sharing the same opinion, candidate Doan Hai Dang (taking the exam at Hung Vuong High School) commented that this year's Literature exam was quite good, closely reflecting real-life situations, although it was a bit long. Candidates at the exam center at Tuy Phuoc No. 2 High School felt the exam evoked strong emotions. Candidate Phan Thuy Trang said: "The reading comprehension section was something I studied quite thoroughly, so I did well on it. I predict I will score around 7 points in this subject."

Considering that this year's Literature exam had a fairly even level of difficulty across most questions, candidate Pham Huynh Bao Ngoc (from Vinh Thanh High School) hopes to achieve a fairly average score to do well in the exam.
Similarly, candidate Dinh Thi Diem (a student from Vinh Thanh Ethnic Boarding Secondary and High School) commented: "This year's exam was quite difficult, the paper was long, and the questions all had a high level of differentiation, so it wasn't easy to get a high score."

Meanwhile, candidate Nguyen Minh Quan (from Le Thanh Tong High School) was quite surprised by the exam structure. According to Quan, the reading comprehension section focused on the theme of the reform process, while the essay section was a literary analysis, so the two parts lacked a clear connection. "I think I completed about 60-70% of the exam," Quan said.

Although quite nervous while reading the exam questions, candidate Dinh Vo Trac Viet (from Nguyen Thai Hoc No. 1 High School) tried his best to read carefully and reorganize his ideas to complete the exam well.
"The exam was still within my capabilities. My goal is to study History Education at Quy Nhon University, so I hope to achieve the results I desire," Viet shared.

Leaving the exam room in a cheerful mood, candidate Tran Anh Khoi (from Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted) expressed: "The exam questions were relevant to real-world situations, topical, and provided an opportunity for students to express their thoughts. The questions weren't overly tricky but still required candidates to think critically, relate to reality, and present their viewpoints clearly. I did quite well and predict I might score around 7 to 8 points."
Parents stand by their children.
Outside the examination room, most parents were nervous, anxious, and patiently waiting for their children. Catching his daughter's smile as she emerged from the Hung Vuong Specialized High School examination center, Mr. Pham Van Bac (Group 2, Kbang Commune) breathed a sigh of relief.

Mr. Bac shared: "After the Literature exam, my daughter was very happy because she thought the questions were quite interesting, helping her understand more about emotions, and learn to live with more love and responsibility."
At the Hung Vuong High School examination center (Quy Nhon Bac ward), many parents anxiously awaited their children's return after the first exam session. Mr. Pham Van Cang (Quy Nhon Tay ward) said: “Our family always creates opportunities for our children to choose a learning environment that suits their aspirations. We don't put pressure on them regarding scores; we only encourage them to stay relaxed and do their best in the exam.”

Taking advantage of finishing his farm work, Mr. Dao Van Ut (Vinh Binh village, Vinh Thinh commune) arrived at the exam site quite early to pick up his child. “I hope my child maintains a confident mindset and performs well in all the exams. After this exam, the family also hopes that my child will achieve high results in the aptitude test to fulfill their dream of attending university and majoring in Early Childhood Education,” Mr. Ut said.

After last night's rain, the weather at the exam site at Le Thanh Tong High School (Ayun Pa ward) became milder, helping to ease the pressure on the candidates for the first exam. Many parents brought their children to the exam site, offering encouragement and waiting outside the school gate.
Ms. Nguyen Hong Nhan (Quy Tan village, Ayun Pa ward) said: "Seeing my child under pressure these past few days, I feel so sorry for her. The family is always by her side, encouraging her to get through the exam."

Ms. Le Thi Le Hien (parent, An Khe ward) shared: “My child is taking the exam at Quang Trung No. 2 High School (An Khe ward). Over the past few days, the family has been constantly by her side, reminding her to prepare all necessary documents and supplies, and to maintain her health so she can enter the exam with the best possible mindset. I thấy the preparations for the exam have been very thorough. I hope the students will remain calm, confident, complete the exam well, and achieve the results they expect.”

The area in front of the exam center at Nguyen Thai Hoc No. 1 High School (Quy Nhon Nam ward) is always bustling with the presence of volunteers and parents bringing their children to the exam site.
To support the exam candidates, the "Exam Support Team," consisting of 20 members, carried out assistance activities such as distributing drinking water, pens, notebooks, and guiding candidates to the examination area. Many large umbrellas were also placed along the walkway from the school gate to provide shade, making it easier for candidates to move around in the hot weather.

Team leader Truong Nguyen Anh Thu stated: “We created the most favorable conditions to ensure that candidates could confidently enter the exam. From preparing drinking water and necessary supplies to assisting with traffic flow and providing shade for candidates, all tasks were carried out by our volunteers with a sense of responsibility and enthusiasm.”
During the first exam session, candidates and parents received support and assistance from the Traffic Police Department, ensuring absolute safety and order in traffic, contributing to a safe and serious examination.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Hong Vang, Deputy Head of the Traffic Police Department, said: The Traffic Police Department will deploy maximum personnel, vehicles, and technical equipment to command and control traffic, rationally reroute traffic, and prevent traffic congestion and accidents.
“The Traffic Police Department, in coordination with the police in communes and wards, will strengthen patrols, controls, traffic regulation, and guidance on roads and areas around examination sites; at the same time, they will set up support points for candidates to promptly assist, guide, and handle any incidents that may arise during their journey,” said Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Hong Vang.

This afternoon, candidates will continue the exam with Mathematics, with a time limit of 90 minutes.
