In a warm and friendly atmosphere, the new recruits boldly shared their feelings and thoughts about entering the military environment, their initial unfamiliarity with daily life, studies, and training, as well as their determination to strive to successfully complete their assigned tasks. At the same time, officers and soldiers working at the unit shared many valuable experiences in training, studying, adhering to discipline, and building willpower to overcome difficulties and challenges in the military environment. This helped the new recruits gain more confidence, quickly integrate into the unit's routines and regulations, and better define their motivation for striving and growing within the military.

New recruits share memories of their first days in the military.
A touching moment for the new recruit, along with the presence of his family during the get-together.

The most touching highlight of the program was the interaction and reunion between the new recruits and their families. After their first days away from home to begin their military service, the moment of reuniting with loved ones right in their unit brought many special emotions. Tight hugs, proud eyes from parents, simple but warm words of advice, and tears of happiness further motivated the young soldiers to work with peace of mind, determined to train well, and worthy of the trust and love of their families and units.

The atmosphere at the get-together was cheerful and friendly.
The cultural performance was presented by officers, soldiers, and members of the affiliated unit.

Interspersed throughout the exchange were special cultural performances by officers, soldiers, and youth union members of the unit, with themes praising the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, the traditions of the Vietnam People's Army, and camaraderie. The simple yet heartfelt performances showcased the spirit of unity and enthusiasm, creating a joyful and warm atmosphere, leaving a positive impression on delegates and the soldiers' families. “The success of the exchange night not only contributed to strengthening the solidarity and bond between officers and soldiers in the unit but also further solidified the relationship between the unit and the soldiers' families. This was also an opportunity for new recruits to better understand and be proud of the traditions of the Army and the unit; thus, they can confidently study, train, and strive to complete their tasks well,” said Captain Tran Xuan Dung, Political Officer of Battalion 8.
