Mr. Long said that at the end of last year, Mr. Kha was weak, could no longer play the piano, could not sing, and even had difficulty talking.
However, when talking about playing and singing, about his life associated with the wonderful sounds of singing and literature, Mr. Kha gradually became alert, his face brightened, and he spoke more.
When Trinh Ngoc Minh, a young artist, sang a few words, he immediately sang along.
The previous times I visited Mr. Kha, he talked about playing music, singing, and teaching the profession. He also opened ancient singing documents in Han Nom to read, translate and explain to young artists.

Meritorious artist Hoang Trong Kha was born in 1923 in Hanoi into a family with a musical tradition.
His father had a singing career, so from the age of 10, he began to be taught Confucian script and singing by his father.
Having spent most of his life as a singer, he has traveled everywhere and been able to enter many temples, shrines, and palaces to sing.
In March 3, veteran writer Hoang Trong Kha was officially awarded a certificate of recognition as an outstanding artisan by the Folk Arts Association.
