The Mathematics Education major at Can Tho University has a cutoff score of 29.25 based on the academic transcript results of the three subjects.
On the afternoon of June 22nd, Can Tho University announced the cutoff scores for the admission method based on academic transcripts, calculated by summing the average scores of three subjects in the chosen subject combination from five high school semesters (excluding the second semester of 12th grade) plus priority points (if any).
The cut-off scores for teacher training programs are among the highest at the university, ranging from 24.5 to 29.25; some programs saw a slight decrease compared to last year. In 2022, the cut-off scores for this group of programs ranged from 23.25 to 29.85.
The Mathematics Education major has the highest cutoff score - 29.25. If candidates do not have priority points, they must have a GPA of 9.75 in each subject to pass. Following closely behind is the Chemistry Education major with a cutoff score of 29.1. For non-education majors in the general program, the cutoff scores range from 18 to 29, depending on the major.

This year, Can Tho University is recruiting 7,800 students through four methods: Direct admission, priority admission; academic transcript scores; high school graduation exam scores; and direct admission to supplementary knowledge courses (for ethnic minority students).
Last year, the cutoff scores for the high school graduation exam-based admission method at Can Tho University ranged from 15 to 27, with the highest being for the History Education major.
