Admission scores for the International University

Candidates can check the university admission scores this afternoon, August 17th.

On the evening of August 17th, the Admissions Council of the International School (Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City) announced the cut-off scores for admission based on high school graduation exam results in 2024.

The cutoff scores for each specific major are shown in the following table:

Of the 23 undergraduate programs offered by the International University, the four with the highest admission scores are: Computer Science , Data Science, Information Technology, and Logistics and Supply Chain Management. The English Language program, in particular, has an admission score of 34.5 points (calculated on a 40-point scale, with English weighted twice).

Most majors this year maintained similar admission scores to 2023, with some experiencing a slight decrease compared to the previous year. The highest admission score in 2023 was for logistics and supply chain management with 25.25 points.

University admission cutoff scores: high number of applications, 'hot' majors may see an increase of 1-3 points.

According to regulations from the Ministry of Education and Training, after knowing the cutoff scores, successful candidates must confirm their enrollment online through the Ministry's general admissions system no later than 5 PM on August 27th. Simultaneously, candidates must go directly to universities to complete enrollment procedures according to the timelines set by each university. From August 28th, universities with remaining vacancies will announce supplementary admissions rounds.
